For the final session of our Holy Spirit Fire Conference, Pastor Mike shared how we wrestle with God. We hear about the things God does in the Bible but we don’t always see them. We can get to a place of just going through the motions and not fighting to see His mighty works in our lives. Just as Jacob wrestled with God for his blessing, we need to wrestle by praying until we see the breakthrough.

The first night of the Holy Spirit Fire Conference 🔥 Pastor Mike shared a word on building an altar to meet with God. In the Old Testament, the servants of God always built an altar as a meeting place with God, bringing offerings, sacrifices, and prayer. The Old Testament can be a physical representation of a spiritual concept, so this can be translated to the church of today. We need to build an altar before the Lord. Not of stones, but by bringing and sacrifice, an offering and prayer. It is time to build an altar before the Lord and meet with Him today!

For the final part in the series on the names of God, we take a look at Jehovah Shammah, the Lord is there. Going through the book of Ezekiel, we see the departure and return of the presence of the Lord and the power of it. We are a presence driven church and desire for the Lord to be here with us. We desire to keep His presence with us in everything we do. The Lord is constantly knocking and desiring to be here with us. All we need to do is open the door and let him in. Not only in our hearts, but in our church and in our city.

Our Names of God series continues as we discover the name, Jehovah Tsidkenu: The Lord is our Righteousness. We have been given grace through the righteousness of Christ. We are the Bride of Christ and are changed because when we say YES to Jesus, we take His name! As Christians, we are the Righteousness of Christ.
